What's included at Lauradale Guest Farm
Lauradale is a self-catering guest farm, so most of what you need is already in your cottage or suite: a full kitchen, comfortable beds, and your own braai under the vines. Beyond that, two outdoor pools, secure parking and backup power through load-shedding come as standard, on two quiet hectares minutes from Stellenbosch's wine estates.
The pools & grounds
Two outdoor pools, a chlorinated and an eco-pool sit at the heart of the farm, a short walk from every cottage and suite, with pool towels, sun loungers and shaded seating provided. Around them are two hectares of lawn and vineyard, room for children to play, a spot to braai in the evening, and uninterrupted views of the Helderberg and Stellenbosch mountains.
In your suite or cottage
Every suite and cottage is fully self-catering, with a kitchen equipped for proper cooking: gas hob and electric oven (cottages) or small electric two-plate stove with oven (apartments), fridge, microwave, toaster, kettle and a full set of crockery and cookware (most units also have a dishwasher). You'll have air-conditioning, complimentary Wi-Fi, DSTV, an en-suite bathroom and a king-size bed, plus a private braai. A backup inverter keeps the lights, Wi-Fi and TV on through load-shedding.
Comfort & the essentials
Beds are made up with fresh linen and your bathroom is stocked with towels, soap, shampoo, lotion and a hairdryer. Tea, coffee, sugar and milk are provided on arrival, and there's an iron and ironing board in your unit. Braai/fire wood and firelighters can be bought at Reception. Please order in advance
Power, parking & peace of mind
Lauradale is a secure guest farm with ample on-site parking, wheelichair access and a backup solar system, so a power cut never interrupts your evening. It's a strictly non-smoking property, set well off the main road, about ten minutes from Stellenbosch town and twenty-five from Cape Town International Airport.
