Where is Lauradale Guest Farm, and how far is it from Cape Town and Stellenbosch?

Lauradale Guest Farm is in Vlottenburg, on the edge of Stellenbosch in the Cape Winelands, about 25 minutes from Cape Town International Airport. We sit on Bonniemile Road among working vineyards, with the Stellenbosch and Helderberg mountains beyond. Several wine estates — Overgaauw, Neethlingshof, Vredenheim and Spier — are within minutes, and the V&A Waterfront is roughly 40 minutes by car.

Yes — breakfast is included in every rate, for every unit, with no difference in price by accommodation type.

Is the accommodation self-catering?

Accepted Answer

Most units are self-catering; two rooms are serviced with breakfast. The cottages (Rose and Jasmine), the one-bedroom suites (Lily, Aloe and Protea) and Lavender House each have a fully equipped kitchen. The two exterior rooms attached to Lavender House — Daisy and Cosmos — are not self-catering but come with a tea and coffee station, bar fridge and microwave. Breakfast is included with every booking.

Yes — there are two outdoor swimming pools on the property, and pool towels are provided. Lavender House has direct pool access, the cottages are about 100 metres from the pools, and the exterior rooms share a patio and pool area.

Both. Lavender House is a three-bedroom self-catering house that sleeps six, bookable as a whole house or by individual room. The two exterior rooms, Daisy and Cosmos, can be added to a whole-house booking or taken on their own.
