Lauradale Guest Farm is in Vlottenburg, on the edge of Stellenbosch in the Cape Winelands, about 25 minutes from Cape Town International Airport. We sit on Bonniemile Road among working vineyards, with the Stellenbosch and Helderberg mountains beyond. Stellenbosch town is a short drive away, and several wine estates, Overgaauw, Neethlingshof, Vredenheim and Spier, are within minutes. The V&A Waterfront is roughly 40 minutes by car.

Yes, breakfast is included in every rate, for every unit, with no difference in price by accommodation type. A continental breakfast is included with every booking, self-catering or not, from 08:00 to 10:00. Breakfast is served in the dining room for all guests. Early birds who need to leave before 7:30, can order a continental take-away parcel to be stored in the fridge of their unit between 16:00 and 17:00 the previous day.

Most units are self-catering. The cottages (Rose and Jasmine), one-bedroom suites (Lily, Aloe and Protea) and Lavender House each have a fully equipped kitchen. Daisy and Cosmos, the two exterior rooms attached to Lavender House, are not self-catering but include a tea/coffee station, bar fridge, microwave and basic cutlery and crockery for warming up meals. All rooms are serviced daily, with breakfast included for Daisy and Cosmos.

Two outdoor pools (chlorinated and eco-pool) are available to all guests with provided towels. Lavender House has direct access; cottages are approximately 100 metres away. Note: pools are unfenced.

Pets are not accommodated, though trained guide dogs are welcome subject to prior arrangement.

Lavender House is a three-bedroom self-catering house that sleeps six - only bookable as a whole house. The individual rooms COSMOS and DAISY attached to the house with outside entrances can be added to the Lavender House booking at applicable rates to sleep ten.

Cancellation fees escalate with proximity to arrival: 30+ days prior incurs a 10% administration fee; 8–30 days prior, 50%; 7 days or fewer, no-shows, and early departures forfeit 100%. Group bookings of three or more cancelled within 21 days before arrival are charged fully. No refunds apply for stays between 15 December and 31 January. Travelling with Family? Children of all ages are welcome at our guest farm. Please note, we do not provide extra beds, mattresses, cots or linen.
